eSyndiCat 2.2 RC2 released on 18th, October

Greetings,

eSyndiCat 2.2 RC2 has been released. We fixed most known reported bugs and improved some of our functionality. You can find list of fixed bugs in our Pro Forums area.

Now there is eSyndiCat 2.2 RC2 available in downloads area. If you download this version you should not apply any patches or upgrades, etc. It already contains all bug fixes included.

There is also upgrade patch in downloads area. Instructions how to apply it can be found in our Pro forums area.

Well, upgrade instructions are rather simple. Just reupload all the files from the version in your working copy and then go to Admin Panel -> Manage Database -> Import

Choose patch file from a drop down and click Go :)

After that you should have your version updated

Simon, can you clarify just a little, do I need to download the new 2.2RC2 and then unzip and then upload files to my production site (over writing them)?

If so, what is the patch file exactly I am looking for?

Yes, you should just download the file from your downloads area. It is called 'Upgrade 2.2 RC - 2.2 RC2' and it can be found in Patches section.

Hi Andrew,

If you check our system requirements for eSyndicat you can see there is Apache server in them. Though our script should work on IIS as well. Some features will be absent like SEO friendly URLs
