Solution for Installation login found!

Hi,

Some of you have problems with installation of our 2.2.RC version. We investigated the problem and we understood how to solve this problem. It depends on your server configuration. If PHP is not installed as Apache module the validation will not work.

We are working on a quick fix of this problem. I'm sorry for the inconvenience

Fixed. Everyone who has this problem should redownload the script from our downloads area. It will work fine now.

Uff, I'm very glad we solved this problem. But our lead developer took a look at it - and voila, it started to work on CGI php installations also.

I hae installed everything properly, but now after I deleted my install folder as directed, I cannot login using the login and password I chose during installation. I even used password recovery. After I hit the login button I just return immediately to the login screen.

Any ideas?

You go on phpmyadmin (PMA)

You publish table v… admins, then you publishes the account which you created.
Compared to the password uses in the drop-down list of left option MD5 and you seized your password in light, you valid and it is all.

I am using Internet Explorer 7.

I will look at the PHPAdmin thing, but I only understood about half of what you just wrote.

I tried the PHPmyAdmin thing and I don't understand it enough I think. I went to the v_admins tables, my username is correct, but int he password filed it had: e28ca32XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. The "XX's" represent other numbers and such. I changed this to a new password and went back to login and it didn't recognize my username or pasword as valid. This makes me assume I did the wrong thing in PHPmyAdmin.

I can't believe the whole installation goes fine and I can't login!

Any other ideas? Anyone?

To download a version of script, for my localhost, then once at the point, all my modifications applied, the uploader to my Web site.

With is your new protections, that possible yes or not?

Yes you can install on any local domain name. You can use localhost, domain, esyndicat, esyndicatbeta, whateveryouwant and any other domain name that does not look like real domain name (does not contain any dot). You can configure it on your local version, modify it as you wish, etc, etc, and later you can install it on your real domain --- Yes you can do that

Indeed would that like to say that one can install a script esyndicat envisaged and coded for a localhost on a true field?

In fact the need:

I download script with like ndd=localhost.

I work on script, I modify with my own way the programs, TPL etc…

- Do once the work of modification finished, I download my script modified on ndd= www.annuaire.com, and there directly that functions?

I am very surprised, it would be very well.

But I do not believe in it, indeed if somebody wanted to cheat and to copy it from several fields on the basis of its localhost then that would be possible…

I am well afraid which my software of Systran translation is bad and which you do not include/understand exactly my remarks.

If not for what would this very heavy protection installation be used?

This says that would arrange me, because currently with this protective system I make some am obliged:

- To set up on my x01 field, a script not personalized and then to gradually modify it into same as my visitors use it.

- Then if I want to put this script, finally personalized, on another field, for example x02, I must all start again.

And it is there that is the problem and the heaviness of the choice of your protection.

I would have preferred that you develop a system of password created especially for a ndd and that one can modify this one, in the admin by example, and if one recopies script on another ndd, it would be enough to seize in the admin the new password created by your application of safety.

Ceci dit cela m'arrangerait, car en fait actuellement avec ce système de protection je suis obligé :

-De mettre en place sur mon domaine x01, un script non personalisé et puis le modifier petit à petit en même que mes visiteurs l'utilisent.

-Ensuite si je veux mettre ce script, enfin personnalisé, sur une autre domaine, par exemple x02, je dois tout recommencer.

Et c'est là qu'est le problème et la lourdeur du choix de votre protection.

J'aurais préféré que vous mettiez au point un système de mot de passe créé spécialement pour un ndd et que l'on puisse modifier celui-ci, dans l'admin par exemple, et si on recopie le script sur un autre ndd, il suffirait de saisir dans l'admin le nouveau mot de passe créé par votre application de sécurité.

I'm sorry I was unable to understand you :((( Here is how the system works.. If you install it on a domain that's not listed in your Manage Domains section it should not work. You would not be able even to install it.

Please if possible clarify your idea. Thanks in advance

i have the same problem.

I have installed 2.2 and everything goes perfect only when i login it won't let me, it comes back to login admin page. For your information, when i enter a wrong password then it does say that the username is wrong or password. When i try to login with the write usern and password it doesn't give me error.

I have the same problem. I ordered my script few days ago and finally I got my script. I was so happy I can start my links directory with my PageRank 5 domain. I installed the newest version. Everything looked working perfect. Than I found out some of links don´t work. I wanted to logon into my Admin Account but I cannot logon. I am so unhappy right now but I hope someone could help me.
