After entering all of the information when "suggesting a link", whether I choose "Permanent Regular FREE Listing" or the "Featured Listings" plan, I receive the following error: "Please make sure you use a backlink from your domain" and the submission process never completes.

It appears that the error message might be coming from the absence of a Reciprocal URL.

On this web directory, the free listings do not require a reciprocal URL. Under my Admin Area, Manage Listing Fields for Reciprocal URL, I have put the Reciprocal URL Order as "0" hoping that would stop the error message, as well as selecting it not to appear Suggest Listing Page or the Listing Details Page. It won't let me delete the Reciprocal Field at all.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem??? The first person who tells me how to fix this (and have the error message problem actually resolved) will get a Lifetime Permanent Featured Listing.

Once this problem is fixed, all of the group can submit their url on my new free web directory. I still need to enter all of my sub-categories and will move your URL to the appropriate one when I have them all entered.

Thank you,
Marian,

The problem is with the web directory: http://www.humaneditedseofriendlywebdirectory.com. I want to use the template that is there.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of this error message, other then deleting the esyndicat php directory script and using the scripts from http://www.phplinkdirectory.com for my other web directories also.

Any suggestions from the management or whoever the group of people are who made esyndicat php directory script?????

Are you using the pro version 2.1.03 like me?

If so I would try
Admin Panel > configuration > Link Checking

and DISable Reciprocal Link Checking.

Then your script should not require a reciprocal link :)

hope this helpsards

Mark is right, thanks )) Also you should insert reciprocal link with accuracy, it should be absolutely equal with reciprocal links, which you insert in admin panel.

In case if your script doesn't correct check reciprocal link, check this thread: http://www.esyndicat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10152&highlight=has_url
