Need html extension for directory /subdirectory

Hi,

I need to have .html extension everywhere in the directory & sub directory URL

So that subdirectory URL http://www.domainanme.com/directory/computers/printers/
should look like
http://www.domainanme.com/directory/computers/printers.html

and upper level URL

http://www.domainanme.com/directory/computers/
should like
http://www.domainanme.com/directory/computers.html

So in short my requirement is that .html extension should be everywhere.I do not want / style anywhere.

I know that existing structure of the php link directory is very well SEO friendly which is ok for any new directory building .But at my end in many of the existing running websites pages are having html extension .I want to use esyndicat while keeping the existing file URL structure as it is.

Any help would be appreciable.

have you considered using 301 redirects?

301 redirect for multiuple url is not a good solution

Simple & best solution would be to make little bit changes in the basic scripts it self so that instead of putting taling backslash "/" it puts .html in the URL end.
