About the Category Number of links

Hi,

I have been trying to make the total number of link dissapear for about 2 hours now... and still I cannot do so.

How do i make my index /frontpage where it display category links without the number of links

Category:

Apparel (23)
electronics(45) <---- I don't want this number how can I make it dissapear

become

apparel
electronics

This is easily done:

Login to your "admin panel"

Select "Configuration" (From left menu)

Select "Page Navigation and Listings" (from menu near top)

Find "Number of links display next to category" (about half way down)

Just change the check box to "disabled"
