Hello Everyone,

I just purchased Directory script from this site a couple of hours ago.
It came configured with GreenLeaves template but I would like to use SunnyDay template.

I successfully did the upload to my server and now I need to make those changes. Can any one assist me on this matter?

Bellow is my destination site:

Thanks in advance,
MG

Help with contact us Script...

After I finished the installation, I had specified my admin email to which people could contact me, But then when I did the test, contacting my self I found out that the emails are not sent at all.

The only message I am getting is: Your contact has been added.

Can somebody help on this matter?

Thanks in advance,

Hi MG,
Emails aren't sent from Contact US page.
Contacts you'll be able found on Admin Panel » Manage Contacts

Hey,

I just saw it.
Wow looks so bad.
Do you have any idea how I can fix that?

Your help could be appreciated.

No, it is definatly not square though. How do you submit a site? Do you have to log in? Sorry if I seem thick or blind, I missed the link. If you have to sign up, I for one and I think many more will not bother, directories are a submit and forget, unless they are huge or spectacular, in my humble opinion.

Hi,

I respect your point of view.
Suppose I don’t create any account to login, I already submitted my site, but then after some days I realize that some changes needs to be done to my link information, how do I have to do that without contacting the owner’s site?

You have a good one.

MG

When you update a link, there is an option to email or not, leave the little box empty, ie not.

Hi,
I think I just made it.
I already tried opening my site using Firefox after the changes I had to make.
Now I can see my site together.

What do you think?

“About my login area:”

Guys, I need some good ideas.
We all are marketers here and our intension is getting more traffic to our sites.
I already got some advice from someone saying that there is no need to have login area.

What do you think about that?
Do I have to take it off?

I need more opinion please…

All the best,
MG

Hey PIPC01,

Thanks for the comments you made the other day. It was worth it.
I have been asking many people on the net and 48% of them agreed with you.

Having login area it’s some how scary and most of them don’t want to spend much time, they just want to post their sites and leave for life.

The other 52% believe that having login area where forces you to create an account before you can suggest a link is simply because you can securely manage any links that you submit to the directory.

Links are only useful to you and others if they are accurate and the best person to ensure that your links are accurate is you.

With that in mind, I decided to have “editor area” for those who may want to create an account, and then another option is for those who just want to suggest links without creating any account.

Much better that way, right?

Hi mg

You could still do this by just setting the approval on submission to disabled.

Admin Panel » Configuration » General Configuration
Auto approval on submission - check disabled
Save Changes
