Hi all,

eSyndiCat software could be used for a great number of different sites. Its flexibility gives webmasters possibility to configure a site to work in a manner they like. But there are quite few persons who use our software out of 'directory software' box.

We decided to create a special package for real estate dealers who will post their realty ads. Of course this package will have its own design (see attached picture) and its own functionality. Here is the brief number of additional specific fields that will exist by default in our realty package:

Property Type
Address
Bathrooms
Bedrooms
Price
Thumbnail

All your comments are greatly appreciated.

nice, but i like auto classifieds better,i dont know if its because of the screen shot, as it seems its just like Esc, ine the display of the links and ctaeogyr arrangement and etc.. again thats minor styling issues, can you show maybe a preview with thumbs or a detail view instead :)...

Nonetheless great work simon

Yeah, today when I was creating a preview for this package I also noticed it still looks like eSyndicat directory. We need preview picture for listing details.. I will share your vision and my ideas with David and he will make all necessary changes ;)

Thanks for the feedback Ibrahim

Great idea Simon. For sure there is a niche for this.

I guess it just matter of configuration... but I would also suggest to include a GENERAL STUFF classifieds version besides Autos and Real State.

Actually I am also looking for a script with the avility to be configured these 3 ways.

When would it be ready?
Regards
Daniel.

That is a good idea Simon!

Actually I a using the normal eSyndiCat for displaying holiday cottages, holiday retals, hotels and so on. But I did not had the time to customize it in this direction.

important would be:

- googleMaps-integration
- And for rentals a calendar, when the rental is free and when not.

Best regards,

Dominik!

Would also be very interested in knowing about this as I am in the process of setting up a real estate company in Portugal.
The current estate agent software is anthing between $500 - $2000. Some with and some without full support and back up etc.

Hello Simon,

On the realty classified screenshot I have noticed you use the same words for navigation (and probably same file names) as in the Esybdicat directory software. I know the words such as "New Link" or "Suggest link" can be changed to "New property" or "Suggest property" etc. That's no problem. I would like to know if there is any way that user can change the file names as well. Otherwise when you suggest a property, the URL will still end with suggest-link.php (just like in the Esyndicat) instead of suggest-property.php.

Also, would like to know if there will be any "field" to send a message to the Ad owner using his/hers e-mail info from the registration, instead of displaying the email address on the details page? (This feature should be available for both classified scripts).

Thank you.

Hey!... That template design would be great just for the regular directory.

You really need another shot with thumbnail pics and then a detail page with more info, pics, Google map etc. Heck! Google map integration just for the directory would sell me, but I'm already "sold". :good:

Google Map Mod, may help? Not sure if the new version will have this or not?

People LOVE pretty pictures and knowing where things are. And having some integrated map feature, to me at least, is a big selling point. It could be enabled/disabled or whatever. I almost went with another directory program that had that ability but decided against it because the cost would have been prohibitive.

I have MANY personal domains and will test out various marketing strategies against each of them to see which is more effective. eSyndicat made this possible with its generous unlimited domains license. If someone doesn't buy it for that one reason alone, and quite obviously that it works well for what it does, then I think they're expecting too much. Not saying it's perfect, but it'll improve with support.

Is this mod really getting built? I was going to use Esyndicat but now after seeing this post i'm thinking about a different script...hrmm

I have been looking for a script to do some hotel properties. Hopefully you will get the picture support added soon. I'm ready for it and would love to beta test.

Hi Onboom
Unfortunately we do not have it now :( We are working on our subrion classifieds package and we hope we can release a fully functional classified version this spring.

auto, classifieds & realestate :) nice combination

So if I buy esyndicat.com pro license for un-limited domains, then do I need to buy each of these (auto, classifieds, and realestate) directory softwares seprataely i.e. is that 499 for auto, 499 for classifieds, and 499 for realestate in addition to 499 for esyndicat pro?

Just trying to understand how much will it cost if I decide to get auto, classifies, and realestate later after I purchase the pro version?

Is there a "All in One" package that has the realestate/auto/classifieds/directory etc everything in one package with one price.

I am mainly interested in un-limited domains license and currently comparing different directory/website softwares.

Thank for your clarifications.

Hi DomainEngineer

Subrion is not related to eSyndiCat at all. It's a separate product developed and supported by the same company. Of course it has a similar structure , etc.

Is there a "All in One" package that has the realestate/auto/classifieds/directory etc everything in one package with one price.
Yes, and it will be a subrion CMS. Currently it's not 100% ready but we hope to release it this spring.

We will not have unlimited domains license but we will provide a good discount for our active buyers :) It is possible we will provide up to 50% discounts

Sure, 50% discount is a deal. Please send an email to sales at subrion dot com. They guys will arrange the discount for you

Subrion now consists of 2 different packages. Publishing (formerly known as xooArticles) and auto classifieds. Main version will be ready this spring and I can assure you it's worth waiting
