How do I edit the front page?

Embarrasing I know, but I cannot seem to find how to edit the text on the main page.
Anyone with a torch please?

You can edit the template files.

they are in templates folder under your tempate directory.

header.tpl, index.tpl, footer.tpl

you can also edit **submit.tpl

link-details.tpl etc

What text do you want to edit?

the text, as in the welcome message every one see, who we are, why we are here etc

I can edit all the other pages, as in about us, advertise etc etc but not it seems the front (index) page, however I put text on there, somehow at some point.
