reciprocal link disable

I have three plans for featured, sponsored and free listings. When testing plans, I get ask for reciprocal link for featured and sponsored listings which I don't won't. I only won't free listings to have reciprocal links. I tried disabling 'required fields in 'manage listing field' but nothing changed. I thought this was done automatically when I create plans. Why is this happening?

I was just wondering about some problems me and others are having with esyndicate script. It seems to me that setting up plans and reciprocal links for your site is a very common practice. Why do non-programmers like myself have to go into the script to change things that should be in the admin section. It seems the programmers think this is an unusual request. These are very common request that you need to set up your site. If I set up a plan to pay, it should not give me errors if I don't want them to put a reciprocal link. To me, that common sense. Why would I demand a reciprocal link if they are paying. Also, if I give them a free listing, why would I want them to go through Paypal. This is the best script I have ever worked with and the support is a 12 on a scale of 1-10 but with this in mind, how can these common edits be missed? I'm using the newest version. Are these bugs or clitches and could there be a simpler way to accomplish these before mention problems in an update? A dropdown menu for Free listing and a simple reciprocal link request check box in plans section would be great (easy for me to say as a non-programmer. Who knows how many man hours it would take to solve this simple request). Just my 3 cents.:(
