Anther Question

Oh i ran into a anther problem ....i locked all the top categories through manage categories....but now when i try to submit, and right when i choose the top categories from the drop down menue (note that only the top cat. are available through drop down) a screen comes up showing that this category is locked.....so how do i keep the top categories locked while allowing ppl to submit to the sub-cats?? Thanks!

until/unless there is some fix for that:
in general configuration, disable "Categories dropdown instead of tree" option
