Using v2.1.03.
I need to know which templates are now compatible with v2.1.03?
Is it just the twelve (12) templates listed on the current product page that I can select from?
http://www.esyndicat.com/product.html
I just installed SkyStars which is one of the 12 templates on the product page and I got the following error:
404 Not Found
The requested URL /new-links.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.mysite.com Port 80
I'm assuming SkyStar is compatible with v2.1.03.
Will someone confirm if the 12 templates on the product page compatible with the latest 2.1.03 version or not?
Thank you!

As far as I'm aware it's only the greenleaves template that is compatible with v2.1.03. In the templates repository there are 2 other templates available but they are paid for versions.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong!

I purchased eSyndicat Pro v2.1.03 2 1/2 weeks ago and was under the impression (based on the products page) that there were at least 12 templates that were available (see http://www.esyndicat.com/product.html)
I also viewed the demo tools drop down list and was under the impression that the templates would work with the latest version (http://www.esyndicat.com/demo/).
I've been using greenleaves for 2 1/2 weeks to familiarize myself with this software. Well, now I'm ready to create my two sites and had planned to use SkyStar Red and SkyStar Blue templates.
Question?
eSyndicat Staff... is there someone who is working on updating all templates asap so that they are all compatible with the latest version 2.1.03?
If yes, can someone make an announcement as the templates are ready for download? I now see that there are 2 in the repository but I have no interest in using the business and real estate templates because that's not the theme of my site/domain.
I need the SkyStars Red and Blue v2.1.03 compatible asap. SkyStars: http://www.esyndicat.com/demo/?template=SkyStars
Can someone help me here so I can move forward?
Also, I am not a web programmer or web designer, I simply know HTML. I was told that I didn't have to be a php programmer to use eSyndicate. IT IS 1000% TRUE!!! Thanks to the awesome softare :1st: and the eSyndicat guys :1st: and all site owners :1st: who answer questions in this forum, I was able to get my directory (greenleaves) functioning perfectly without any headaches! Thanks again to all you Pro's who help out here!
Now I just need v2.1.03 compatible templates to select from like what's listed/advertised the product page. :) (http://www.esyndicat.com/product.html)
Templates should be updated by this Monday.

Hello,
I'm really new to this script.
Could someone tell me how to change the template?
First of all you must have more than one template uploaded to your server in order to switch between them.
After you upload the desired template to the templates/ folder where your script is installed - just login to the admin panel.
Go to General Configuration, choose the desired template from the drop-down menu, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "save"

None of the themes work, I just get a blank page but can still access the original green leaves fine - and none seem to have index.tpl? in fact they all seem to be missing a fair few tpl files?

They all work fine for me. You need to download the previous templates 2.1.1 first, then download the updated templates 'pack'. Unzip it and copy across the couple of updated files for each template and they'll work just fine.

That explains it - i thought they were the full templates. Thanks!
Looks like the templates are ready!
Hi all,
in the demo, there is a red version of the minimalistic template. What do I have to do to change my standard minimalistic template (version 2.1.03) into the red one?
Thanks for helping,
Greetings,
Lars

Lars,
Go to http://www.esyndicat.com/shop/version-pro-2-1-01/index2.html, find "Minimalistic Red" template and download it to your directory. Then change your current templates with the new "Minimalistic Red" via Admin Panel :) .

Thanks Dave. I have overseen that.
Is it then also necessary to use your template-upgrades for version 2.1.03 for Minimalistic Red?
I am not sure as in that upgrade-file only the minimalistic template and not the minimalistic red template is mentioned.

Hi Lars
Choose the minimalistic red template for 2.1.01
Then just overwrite the files (from the upgrade-file). Except for the css.
Take that part which is:
.rating {
cursor: pointer;
clear: both;
}
.rating:after {
content: '.';
height: 0;
width: 0;
clear: both;
visibility: hidden;
}
.cancel,
.star {
float: left;
width: 17px;
height: 15px;
overflow: hidden;
text-indent: -999em;
cursor: pointer;
}
.cancel,
.cancel a {background: url(../img/delete.gif) no-repeat 0 -16px;}
.star,
.star a {background: url(../img/star.gif) no-repeat 0 0px;}
.cancel a,
.star a {
display: block;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
background-position: 0 0px;
}
div.rating div.on a {
background-position: 0 -16px;
}
div.rating div.hover a,
div.rating div a:hover {
background-position: 0 -32px;
}
add that to the style.css for the minimalistic red template.
I think that should be right - but you may want to wait for a definte answer from one of the big shots. :)
Hi Greg,
many thanks!
I have tried your code and everything seem to work perfectly.
If someone sees an error please just let me know ;-)
Greetings,
Lars
