How can we get cron results?

Here is an idea for a refinement ....

can the check.php files please write a note to the Admin comment field for each link, like:-

2007-01-17 Cron Check reports: Broken=ok/NOT-ok; Reciprocal=ok/NOT-ok; HomePagePR=0123etc
