Anti-Spam Protection?

Hi,

I am currently running WordPress on my site and I rely heavily on WordPress anti-spam plugins such as Akismet and Bad Behavior (anti-bot and honeypot). I also filter for known porn, warez sites etc. Are there any similar eSyndicat plugins? If not, would it be difficult to build in this functionality? I am currently interested in the Business Directory script. Thanks.

Well, we have several plugins to prevent spam posts - Captcha and also we have bad words plugin that allows to detect some words and in most cases they are quite sufficient for most directories.
We used to implement Akismet but later we stopped it development as nobody needed it.

Thank you for your reply. I am surprised that other sites do not have spam problems but possibly their sites have different characteristics from mine. Akismet and Bad Behavior have trapped thousands of spam entries on my site and it would probably be too much to handle manually if I were to decide to implement a directory.

That is one thing that sites should have. We never know when spams will attack if we don't have ways to detect them. I prefer spam pro
