Fresh Install : 404 Error

Hi

I just uploaded all the files and have followed the install document.

I get the message "You are about to start eSyndiCat Installation Process."

Then when I continue I get:

Quote:

404 Not Found

The requested URL /esyndicat/install/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

The index.php is on the server and I have set all the correct permissions. I have checked with my provider and I am sure that mod_rewrite is enabled as well.

Any ideas?
