Template problem

Hello,

i have a problem with new templates in version 1.6. When I download templates for this version a and change it in admin I see only white page on SITE HOME.
I copy new version to templates directory, then change it but only white screen on main page.

I have also problem with language settings, where in directories are located language files?
I uploaded language file through the IMPORT language interface to updates directory, but there is no language file in directory on FTP.

Please PM me your FTP credentials and URL so I could check the problem with templates.

There is no language files actually. Language phrases are located in database.
You can manage phrases using admin panel. There should be a link to the Language Manager at the left block
