how to use template?

OK,
i have downloaded a template, uploaded it into the template file, in admin nothing shows under manage templates, only the original one.
What did I do wrong?

Hi carswell,
The structure template folder have to be following:

Code:

-your_template_folder
|_css
|_img
|_footer.tpl
|_header.tpl   
|_etc

Please check structure of template folder.
I suppose you have following

Code:

-your_template_folder
|_your_template_folder
|__css
|__img
|__footer.tpl
|__header.tpl  
|__etc

Or check version of template.

I have downloaded the 5daysgreen template to the template folder where CleanCSS is located (this is the only template in the Manage Template section) I read the post below and made sure that was not the issuse. I also downlaod the same template to the admin folder where the default is located just in case it was in the wrong place. I still can not get the template to show up in the Mangage Template section. what do I need to do?

Double check that the 5daysgreen template is for 2.3 version.

Thanks You for this simple solution! It would have saved me alot of time upload and reload if there had been a sentence somewhere in the installation quide that said
"Make sure the Templates you upload match version of eysndicat that you have uploaded"

It is somewhat frustrating that the site advertising all of the free templates but only a few are available for the version they recommend you download.

Well, that's our fault of course

We are in the process of making new easier templates area. BTW, 2.3.01 templates can be used for 2.3.02 also.
