New eSyndiCat.com licensing system?

Greetings,

As you have noticed recently we updated esyndicat.com account area. We made a new licensing system with just one license number for account. Plus we made a download wizard for the plugins. Right now it's not as useful as intended to be. That's because our 2.2 version plugin system is not as flexible and convenient as 2.3's one. In our 2.3 plugin system you will not need to place template files in templates/, choose install.xml, etc. You will just click Manage Plugins in admin panel and see a list of plugins uploaded to your plugins directory. Click Install/Uninstall and that's all. No .htaccess modification, no templates uploading etc. And our new downloads area simplifies the process very much

I really need your advice now. Please if you have any ideas how to improve our account area/downloads area/templates download - please let us know.

And finally POLL - Do you like our new updated site?

1. Yes - this one is much better
2. No - this would mean you liked the previous one more

Is there are any chances to have 2.3 version for testing ? I'm using 2.2.06 currently and I'm just curious if it's worth to wait until you relaes 2.3 or just buy another 2.2.06 at the moment ? Would it be easy to upgrade from 2.2.06 to 2.3 ? And how about templates - would the tempeltes from 2.2 work on 2.3 or they will need some modifications ? I know it's a lot of questions

I'd also recommend to add paid option for some plugins, I mean the basic ones like now should be free to download and install, but some more advancade ones may be paid, and made more plugins, there are some requests on the forum, just made them quick and sell for 5-10$ each

Yes, Sergey is going to make a public version soon. You'd better wait as our 2.3 version is def worth waiting. We are going to make an easy upgrade from 2.2.06 but there are too many changes. Anyway, we hope it will not be too complicated... 2.2 templates will not work on 2.3 BUT we will post a list of changes on one template. We will take Default template as an example.
