Incorporate with existing site

Hi Guys

I really like this software, and would like to incorporate it into my existing website which I am in the process of developing and running totally voluntarily. The site is a photography site, which includes a forum and chat rooms for able-bodied and disabled photographers to share a passion.

Is there any guides on how to do this, can anyone tell me what I would need to start looking at editing.

I would want to remove the links at the top and move to a side bar, totally removing the Suggest Listing and Categories links as these would be for registered members only.
