Hi there. I am not too keen on MySql and I have a database of over 37,000 listings I need to import.
I have already prepared the directory with all necessary fields using the admin manage fields feature, now I just need to get the data in there. I have two data versions, one is xls the other is csv. This data is not from another directory. Can someone give me any info on how to import the data? This is for eSyndicat 2.1.03 Thanks so much.

Hi there
The 2.1.03 eSyndiCat version does not include functionality for importing, but new 2.2 version will include it. You may buy 2.1.03 version now and after v2.2 version will be released you will be able to upgrade your version. I would advise to wait for our 2.2 version release. It will be on Monday Support |

A generous member posted this in response to my pre-sales forum question on the same subject.

Hi, we've been searching the forums and reading through each forum but couldn't find any clues on how to export (NOT IMPORT) all categories and listings data in CSV format.
Also, we're not quite sure what are the data structure (i.e. field names) we should use in the CSV file to be imported into our directory. Could somebody from Esyndicat help us with this please? Thanks |

You can export your data in CSV format use phpMyAdmin in your hosting cPanel. Quote:

BTW. Migration data from other script to eSyndiCat or from Omega to Pro version we will do it free. If you make migration from Omega to Omega it costs $37
