I have a Question, can i update my Free Version 1.5 to 1.6 ? Or must i new install ths Script. And is the Template of Version 1.5 compatible with Version 1.6?

I think the best a way install eSyndiCat FREE 1.6 [OMEGA]. And templates for 1.5 and 1.6 are uncompatible.

Greetings,

I have just finished data migration tool.

So, as usual step-by-step operations

1. For example, you have your FREE V1.5 alive directory on www.domain.com
and prefix of your tables is 'dir_'

2. Install V1.6 Omega from scratch (tables prefix by default 'v16_') using the same MySQL database and into the same directory on your hosting (with files overwriting )

3. Please Download this file
http://www.esyndicat.com/downloads/upgrade_v15_v16.zip

It contains:
../admin/top.php
../admin/upgrade-v15.php

Upload these files with overwriting.

4. Log into AdminPanel of V1.6
goto Admin Panel » Upgrade from V1.5
(Upgrade from V1.5 you'll see in the 'common group on the left')

5. Change 'dir_' to correct prefix of your eSyndiCat V1.5FREE

6. Click on 'GO'

7. Relax ...

8. That's all

9. Script will inform you that you should delete '../admin/upgrade-v15.php' file

10. Delete it.

11. And use our rocket FREE Omega version.
