Website logo change
Posted by Vasily B. on 06 January 2011 07:01 AM

You can easily change your website's logo in eSyndiCat 2.3 - 2.4 versions.

Login to your Admin Panel and click Configuration.

You should see an option to upload logo for your website. It's called:

"Site Logo"

Note, you can upload any graphic type, but we highly recommend you to upload PNG or GIF files that have a transparent background.

You should set writable permissions for your "uploads/" folder to be able to upload your logo.

Greetings,

You can access your website Admin Panel link if you add 'admin/' to your website URL.
Ex:
Your website is installed at domain.com/directory/

Admin Panel URL will be:
domain.com/directory/admin/

Let us know if you have more questions.

Greetings,
There is no limitations at all. You can upload any image you like, but of course it's recommended to upload logos of the similar website to what you already have in your template. No size limitations.

Can we just replace the logo that is now? What is the path and name to that logo?

Hi,

Yes, you can easily replace the logo. No need to upload files using FTP. You can do that in admin panel. Please check Admin Panel -> Configuration. You can upload a new logo there.

Anyway, if you still wish to reupload the file using FTP you can check its path by right-click on image - just find its URL and reupload your new logo instead of the default one that comes with the template you use.

Is this knowledge base here and like Changing Out Your Own Logos, the same for the Subrion products or only ESyndiCat? The Subrion CMS is programmed differently from ESyndiCats?

Hi Roman,

Basically it's related to esyndicat software only BUT we have many features that are implemented in the same way. So it's possible you will find some useful information for Subrion open source cms as well. Thanks!
